Landscapes, High Dynamic Range (HDR) & Other

HDR is something I've dabbled in - I like the dramatic effect you can create.  From a harsh reality to more of a painting type effect to vivid colours and texture.  This involves taking several photos of different exposures and overlapping them to bring out detail or give a specific feel to a picture.

I've been enjoying getting out and about photographing our beautiful country.  The Nor West clouds providing some impressive patterns along with snow, rock formations, trees, animals, rivers, and so much more.  They all have a story to tell of their own.  

Night Photography - This all started when my son decided it would be a good idea to drag me out in the cold and take some photos of the night sky.  Consequently as we enjoyed it so much we went on to do more.
